Devon Duncan, Graduate Counseling Intern
Hi, I’m Devon Duncan, a Graduate Counseling Intern at Live Oak Counseling’s McDonough, Georgia location. I’m passionate about helping teens (13+), young adults, adults and couples navigate life’s challenges with confidence, clarity, and compassion.
I specialize in working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach integrates Attachment Theory and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to provide a calm, empathetic, and supportive environment where you can feel heard, validated, and empowered to grow.
Why I do this work: Having navigated personal family challenges that were often unspoken, I understand the importance of open dialogue and emotional support. I believe that fostering meaningful connections and creating a safe, nonjudgmental space can be a powerful catalyst for growth and change.
What you can expect when working with me: My sessions are collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. I’ll meet you where you are, walk alongside you in the process, and help you explore what matters most in your life. Together, we can strengthen your emotional resilience and help you move toward the life you want.
