Emily Echols, Masters Level Therapist

ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS!

Hi, I’m Emily, a therapist and a proud graduate of Liberty University with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I specialize in working with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, grief, major life transitions, relationship challenges, and identity issues. Whether you’re facing a new season of life, preparing for marriage, or processing postpartum concerns, I provide a supportive space for healing and clarity.

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and rooted in person-centered care. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), and other evidence-based approaches to help you build resilience, improve communication, and develop healthier thought patterns.

I’m passionate about supporting women and men who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, and I enjoy helping people tap into their strengths as they rediscover their sense of purpose. I also work with teens (ages 15–17) and run small therapy groups focused on emotional wellness and life skills.

When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll probably find me curled up with a fantasy novel or enjoying time at a renaissance fair. I believe that your story matters—and I’m honored to walk alongside you as you write the next chapter.

Emily is currently under the supervision of Amber Flannery, MA, LPC, CPCS.
