Haley Troup, MFT

ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS!

Hey! I’m Haley Troup, MFT. I’m an Honors graduate of Mercer University School of Medicine’s Marriage and Family Therapy Program. I started my journey at Middle Georgia State University, where I earned a B.S in Psychology and fell in love with the idea of helping others. When I’m not in the therapy room, you can find me spending quality time with my children and family, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, reading a book, or traveling to new places and trying new food! As a Forsyth native, I’m passionate about giving back to my community and I’m always looking for new ways to serve my small town.

My therapy style consists of a client-centered approach using Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), or Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I tailor my approach to what each client needs and can benefit from most efficiently.

I specialize in helping clients navigate the huge transitions happening as we move through life stages and launch into new chapters. This includes pre-teens, adolescents, young adults, and pre-marital and married couples. My ultimate goal as a therapist is not to “fix” the “wrong” in my clients, but to help them see the RIGHT. My style is to gently guide and walk alongside my clients in their journeys by helping them set value-aligned goals and strive to reach them.
