Laura Adams, MS LPC CRC
Hi, I’m Laura. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) based in Forsyth, Georgia. I’ve spent over 15 years helping individuals, couples, and families navigate some of life’s most challenging moments—and I consider it a deep honor to walk alongside people in their healing journey.
I work primarily with adults (18+), and I have a special passion for supporting older adults, ages 55 and up. Whether you're coping with grief and bereavement, managing a life transition, or wrestling with anxiety, depression, or women’s issues, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood. I also enjoy helping new mothers adjust to the emotional and mental shifts that often accompany this new season of life.
My approach is always tailored to you. I draw from evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to create a plan that fits your goals and needs. Whether you prefer individual therapy or are looking to grow alongside others in group therapy, we’ll work together in a way that feels supportive, intentional, and effective.
Forsyth has been my home for over 20 years, where I live with my husband and son. When I’m not in session, I love spending quality time with my family, getting in a good workout, or curling up with a great book.
If you’re ready to take that first step toward healing or personal growth, I’d be honored to walk with you.
