Teresa Anderson, Ed.D, LPC, MS

Dr. Teresa Anderson is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia with over 15 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s most difficult challenges. She specializes in working with adults (18+), and also sees a limited number of older teens (ages 16–17).

With advanced training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dr. Anderson provides compassionate and effective support for clients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship struggles, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She also works with clients navigating marriage and family issues, substance use concerns (especially alcohol), and those seeking Christian-integrated counseling.

Dr. Anderson’s therapeutic style is flexible and tailored to your unique needs. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and spiritually integrative approaches to help clients gain clarity, foster growth, and move forward with renewed purpose. Her goal is to bring hope, healing, and spiritual insight into each counseling relationship.

Education:

  • B.A. in Psychology – Georgia State University

  • M.A. in Professional Counseling – Argosy University, Atlanta

  • Ed.D. in Counselor Education & Supervision – Argosy University, Sarasota

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Anderson serves as an adjunct professor at Ohio Christian University, where she mentors future counselors with a focus on Christ-centered, holistic care.

Outside the therapy room, Teresa enjoys spending quality time with her husband and nine-year-old son, traveling, hiking, reading, and staying active.
