Carri Powers, MS APC
CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS! (18 + years of age)
Many people today struggle with feeling overwhelmed, isolated, afraid, or frustrated. Perhaps you don’t know where to start to feel differently. You may be facing something difficult in your life or hurting from past emotional wounds that still linger in your thoughts. Depression, anxiety, grief, or trauma can leave anyone feeling very alone and wondering how things will ever be any better.
I strive to collaborate with you to find a way through the pain and difficulties that you are experiencing and to understand how emotional pain, no matter how big or small, can affect your thoughts, behavior, and relationships. I am passionate about therapy because it can help you gain insight and bring about real change.
It is my hope to provide a safe, judgment free space to help you learn more about yourself and achieve the growth you are seeking. Starting therapy can feel scary or intimidating for a variety of reasons, but with a trusted therapist, you will become comfortable enough to begin this journey. I would be honored to have the opportunity to earn your trust as you take the first steps toward change.
I earned my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I am currently working under supervision, toward licensure, in the state of Georgia. I combine counseling skills, clinical judgment, and a warm and genuine personality to foster growth in individual clients, couples, and families.
Carri is currently under the supervision of Jill Osborne, EdS, LPC, RPT-S, CPCS. LPC # 006170 CPCS # 432
